Terms and refunds
Short, because there is not much to it. In effect from Sep 12, 2026; the date changes when the words do.
What a course is
A course is a set of written lessons on academy.scalewiseva.com, read in the browser, with a place kept for you when you sign in. Buying one gives you access to read it for as long as the Academy exists, on any device, with any updates we make to it. It does not include a call, a review of your work, or a guarantee of a result: the lessons describe a method, and the results depend on doing it. Free courses are exactly that, with no catch and no upsell inside them.
Accounts and what we store
You sign in with a link sent to your email; there is no password. We store your email, the name you choose to give us, which lessons you marked finished, quiz scores, reviews you leave, and purchases. Sign-in links are kept for fifteen minutes and used once. You can delete the account from the account page; progress, scores, reviews and certificates go with it, and purchases stay as an accounting record with the email removed.
We send the sign-in link, a welcome the first time, a certificate when you finish a course, and at most one reminder per course if you stop part-way. Nothing else, and no newsletter unless you ask for one separately. Deleting the account ends all of it.
Reviews
A review is shown on the course page with the name you chose, and marked as verified while you hold access to the course. By posting one you let us display it there. We hide reviews that are abusive, off-topic or not about the course; we do not edit them and we do not hide them for being critical.
Refunds
Fourteen days from purchase, for any reason, in full. Reply to the Stripe receipt or write to hello@scalewiseva.com from the address you bought with. Access ends when the refund is made. After fourteen days there is no refund, because by then the course has been read.
Payments
Handled by Stripe. We never see your card. Prices are shown before you pay and there is nothing recurring. Your receipt comes from Stripe, to the address on the account.
Privacy
The data above is processed by Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email) and Stripe (payments), and by nobody else. The agency’s privacy policy applies to anything not covered here.
